PEL-P passive mast connection box
This mast connection box is installed in masts according to DIN 49778 and DIN EN 40-5, thus preparing them for later extension. The following extensions are possible:
- Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet media converter with/without PoE
- Power supply
- Fuse
Passive installation today, active expansion in the future
In its basic configuration, the easy-to-install mast connection housing initially fulfills the purely passive function of a splice box. Depending on additional requirements, a media converter (Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet) including power supply and screw fuse can be additionally installed.
The PEL-P is installed in poles (DIN 49778 and DIN EN 40-5) with the inner diameter of 100 mm and a door cut-out of 400 x 85 mm. Due to the installation inside the light pole, the technology is easy to maintain and protected against vandalism as well as wind and weather all around.
